Nicole’s Dance School Terms & Conditions

By attending any of Nicole’s Dance School sessions you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Photo Consent

Throughout our dance classes we may take photographs which may be displayed on our website or social media or in any upcoming promotional videos/pictures. If you do not wish your child to be photographed or video'd throughout the class please let us know by emailing info@nicolesdanceschool.co.uk

Safety

Parents/family members are not permitted in the dance class/studio to view the session. Throughout the year we will provide opportunities for you to see your child’s participate in the class.

In the dance hall/studio, safety aspects will be considered by all members of staff however it is the parent/guardians responsibility to ensure they are safe whilst outside the class.

Please ensure children are wearing appropriate clothing for dancing e.g. t-shirt/leggings/trainers etc. Nicole’s Dance School do provide merchandise however, this is not compulsory to purchase. 

Nicole’s Dance School toilets are located outside the dance studio; therefore, if you do not wish for your child to leave the studio and go to the toilet independently please make yourself approachable outside the studio doors so a member of staff can easily see you. In addition to this you will also need to make the teacher aware that you do not wish for your child to go to the toilet independently. We also ask that all dancers go to the toilet prior to their dance session starting.

Medical Notes

Any child with an inhaler must hand this to the teacher at the beginning of the session with their name clearly displayed on it. The parent or child can collect this at the end of the session. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to outline written details of any medical information that may affect a child’s ability.

Personal Property

Nicole’s Dance School do not accept responsibility or liability for lost/stolen items within our facility, so please ensure you are cautious with any valuables.

Anti-Bullying

At Nicole’s Dance School we aim to create a safe, caring and supportive environment where bullying will not be tolerated. Should this ever affect an individual/s in a class, Nicole’s Dance School will seek further action to eliminate this behaviour.

Payments & Refunds

Nicole’s Dance School do not authorise any refunds, make-up sessions or additional classes if your son/daughter is absent.

Payments are accepted online. All payments must be received by the date provided to guarantee their space.

Our class fees are reviewed annually.

Nicole’s Dance School have the right to remove your child from the class until payment is received in full.

As Nicole’s Dance School use external facilities to run their dance classes there may be occasions where the dance sessions are unable to run due to unforeseen circumstances such as school closures, severe weather, heating or electricity etc. In this case Nicole’s Dance School will endeavour to run replacement sessions if classes are cancelled however if this is not possible Nicole’s Dance School will not be obliged to raise a refund for the class/classes missed if these circumstances are beyond Nicole’s Dance School’s control.

School Club/Saturday Class Members

To commit to a school club or Saturday class, we ask that parents sign their child up for the term. However, to minimize costs we will break the total term cost into two half term instalments.

Parent Responsibility

Always drop off and collect your child promptly from their dance session. If for whatever reason you are running late please contact Nicole on 07854789836. Any children who have permission to leave the building to walk home independently must have a signed form from their parent/guardian.
